The company

VPI S.A., is producing PET (polyethylene terepthalate) bottle grade resin with an annual production capacity of 80,000mt. The plant is located in the Industrial Area of Volos, facilitating a good access of the markets in Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Eurasia. The production process is based on melt phase esterification – polycondensation and solid-state polymerization, using Buhler technology, of PTA (Purified Terephthalic Acid) and MEG (Mono-Ethylene Glycol). It’s products are certified with OHSAS18001:1999. VPI’s resins are marketed under the trade name ALPHAPET.
