The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Chalkidiki was established in 1928. It has 53 Agricultural Unions, and 6700 people. Its main activity is gathering, elaborating, processing and trading the "green olive" of Chalkidiki, which is an exclusive variety of the area and is in great demand in the market.
