The company

The Papantonis Winery was founded in 1992, originally founded in 1978, in Malandreni, Argolis (Nemea region). the company’s activity is the production of wine, under the name of "Meden Agan". Production is up to 55.000-60.000 bottles yearly. The ideal microclimate, the special quality of the soil (sandy clay with extensive sieving characteristics) and the unique grape variety give an excellent wine. Since March 2001, the company has implemented ISO Quality Management System and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP). Meden Agan wine has a clear, dark ruby red colour and a fruity flavour. It has a velvet, soft, round taste with a long finish on the palate. This wine is ideal for long-term maturing and should be served at 16 degrees Celcius.
