The company

Ιn 1948 Pigas brothers organised the first cattle raising unit in the community of Diavata – Thessaloniki. 15 years later BIOPGAL Co is set up. A contemporary and mondern cheese plant with international acknowledgement.Two generation of cheesemakers , and today’s manager Nikos Karagounis , have offered their artistry , love and experience on the production. All products are produced from 100% pure sheep and goat’s milk , all taken by the region of Thessaloniki and they correspond to the international quality specification. The maintening of the quality and the tradition is a promise for BIOPGAL .
