The main objective of the project is to implement a comprehensive package of actions that will have as result the integration to labour market and the enhancement of self-employment of 200 young scientists in the cross – border region and the emergence of prospects based on competitiveness, productivity and innovation.

The project is expected to establish a functional, flexible and permanent sustainable “support structure”, to act as physical info-point supporting self-employment and entrepreneurship by exploiting the local scientific potential, which will be adapted to suit the requirements of the border. It is also expected to invest on human capital as one of the most valuable resources of the cross border area for promoting economic activities and to improve the skills of human capital and to match the needs of the enterprises of the specific regions by providing e-tools, as well as training courses.

The participating partners of the project are the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace  as the Lead partner, the Association of Information Technology Companies of Northern Greece, the Greek International Business Association (SEVE), the Development Institute of Technology and Human Resources, the Bulgarian Industrial Association, the Bulgarian Management Association, the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and Energy and the Bulgarian Business and Cultural Development Centre.

The project is approved under the Strategic Call for Proposals of the European Territorial Cooperation Programme “Greece – Bulgaria 2007-2013”.
