Shop In Shop at public administration for professionals- SIS
The project was implemented by the Balkan Institute of Public Administration as the lead partner, the Greek International Business Association and the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government.
The project object was initially the 12-month operation of 5 pilot SIS – Shop in Shop in 5 selected departments of Athens, Thessaloniki and Volos addressing to professionals.
The aim of the SIS was to enable the professionals in their transactions with the public, the enhancement of the entrepreneurship (establishment of news enterprises) and the support of existing enterprises in order to avoid professional failure through consulting.
The implementation of the project included the following actions:
- Study on the establishment and operation of the SIS
- Staffing and operation of the SIS
- Development of electronic tool for the support of the SIS operation
- Training
- Publicity and dissemination
The project was co-funded by the European Economic Area (EEA) for the period 2004-2009 and national funds of Greece through the Public Investment Programme.
