SEVE participates in the Development Partnership \u201cBusiness and employment in manufacturing\u201d for the implementation of the project entitled: \u201cEncouraging entrepreneurship and employment in the manufacturing sector, in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki\u201d in the framework of Action 7: Local plans for employment, adapted to the needs of the local labor markets (TOPSA), of the Operational Program Human Resources Development 2007-2013.
\nThe Development partnership consists of the following bodies:
\n1. Association of Industries of Northern Greece, coordinating partner.
\n2. Exporters Association of Northern Greece.
\n3. Association of IT Companies of Northern Greece.
\n4. Association of Knitting \u2013 Ready \u2013 made Garments of Greece.
\n5. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
\n6. Property utilization and management of the University of Macedonia.
\n7. Knowledge Development Urban Non-Profit Company
\n8. KEK-SEVE-SVE-TIF.
\n9. KEK clothing.
\nThe implementation of a Local Employment Plan (TOPSA) aims initially at training (subsidized) unemployed men and women with previous work experience in manufacturing or service companies and then assisting them so that they can either find a job or create their own small business.
\nAmong the activities of the project are the organization of training seminars, mentoring and placement in companies for at least 3 months.
